Image 2 - ADA Title II Summary: WHAT - Updates ADA to cover websites and apps. Requires WCAG 2.1 AA standards. WHEN - April 2026 for populations over 50,00. April 2027 for populations less than 50,000. WHO - Public entities and services, colleges and universities, state and local government. HOW - Static media follows guidelines laid out in WCAG 2.1. Time-based media includes captions, audio description, and sign language translation.
